On October 17, 2024, Mr. Matthews and his dedicated team from DHL visited our school to deliver an informative presentation on water safety and emergency preparedness to our grade 4 learners. The event took place in the school hall, where learners gathered to learn essential safety tips.

Mr. Matthews opened the session by highlighting the importance of being safe around water, whether at the pool, beach, or even at home. He emphasized key safety practices, such as always swimming with a buddy, wearing life jackets when necessary, and recognizing the signs of strong currents. 

The interactive presentation included engaging stories and relatable scenarios that kept the learners captivated. Overall, the presentation was not only educational but also empowering, leaving the grade 4 learners better equipped to handle water-related situations safely.
