Growing a Greener Future at Balvenie Primary School

Balvenie Primary School is proud to be part of the Presidential Tree Planting Programme, an initiative that encourages schools and communities to contribute towards a greener, healthier and more sustainable South Africa.

On Wednesday, 23 September 2026, our school was delighted to receive six trees, which will be planted on our school grounds as part of this meaningful programme. 🌳🌳🌳

The planting of these trees is more than simply adding greenery to our school. It is an opportunity to teach our learners about the importance of caring for our environment, protecting nature and taking responsibility for the future. As the trees grow, they will serve as a lasting reminder of the role that each of us can play in creating a cleaner and greener environment.

We look forward to planting and nurturing these trees together with our learners and staff. We hope that they will grow strong and provide beauty, shade and a lasting legacy for generations of Balvenie learners to come.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making it possible for our school to participate in the Presidential Tree Planting Programme and for providing us with these six trees.

🌱 Today we plant trees. Tomorrow, we grow a legacy. 🌳
