Our school is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our learners who participated in the GrowSmart Mathematics and Literacy Competition on Saturday, 30 May 2026.

The competition provided learners with an opportunity to showcase their Mathematics and Literacy skills while competing against learners from schools across the Metro North District. Our participants demonstrated determination, confidence, teamwork, and a strong commitment to academic excellence throughout the event.

We are especially proud to announce that Balvenie Primary successfully qualified for Level 2 in Mathematics, a remarkable accomplishment that reflects the hard work and dedication of our learners and educators. This achievement highlights the importance of perseverance, critical thinking, and a positive attitude towards learning.

Participating in competitions such as GrowSmart not only strengthens learners’ academic abilities but also encourages problem-solving, collaboration, and self-confidence. Our learners embraced the challenge and represented the school with pride and enthusiasm.
