Learning Support is a way to ensure that all learners are able to make progress and achieve according to their potential. Learning Support provides a platform to transform and guide teaching towards the essential support system that the teacher needs.
The Learning Support teacher works closely with classroom teachers to co-plan, co-teach and assess learners in an effort to meet the varying needs of learners within our school.
The Learning Support Assistant’s main role is to provide support for pupils with special educational needs. A good Learning Support Assistant must get on well with children and be able to build a good relationship with the children, teachers and also parents.
