Our School Stands in Solidarity for Child Protection Week

In a powerful show of unity and commitment, our school community came together to observe Child Protection Week. Both learners and staff wore green, symbolizing their support and dedication to safeguarding children’s rights and well-being.

Green served as a visible reminder of the importance of protecting children from harm and promoting a safe, nurturing environment for every child. Through this collective act, our school reinforced its pledge to stand against abuse and neglect and to foster awareness around child protection.

Central to this commitment is the spirit of Ubuntu — the profound belief that “my child is your child.” This philosophy reminds us that the safety and well-being of every child is a shared responsibility. By embracing Ubuntu, our school community emphasizes the importance of caring for one another and working together to create a supportive environment where every child can thrive.

This initiative not only encouraged solidarity within the school but also aimed to inspire conversations about child safety and the vital role that each member of the community plays in ensuring a secure future for all children.

We thank the Almighty for guiding us in this important mission and for blessing our community with strength and compassion as we continue to protect and nurture the next generation.
