On Monday, our school came together for its weekly assembly, which focused on the Value of the Month: Respect π€β¨. The assembly was thoughtfully led by Ms Glossop, who guided everyone through an engaging and meaningful session.
Ms Glossop spoke about what respect truly means in our daily lives β respecting ourselves, respecting others, and respecting our school community π«π. She reminded us that respect is shown not only through our words, but also through our actions, such as listening carefully, being kind, and treating everyone fairly π.
Throughout the assembly, learners were encouraged to reflect on how they can demonstrate respect both in and out of school. Examples were shared about showing good manners, supporting classmates, and appreciating differences ππ€. Adding to the spirit of the assembly, the learners also performed a beautiful spiritual dance, which uplifted everyone and helped express gratitude, unity, and respect through movement and music ππ½πΆπ.
The assembly was inspiring and informative, leaving learners with a clear understanding of why respect matters and how it helps build strong relationships and a happy school community ππ. We ended the assembly by giving thanks to the Almighty for His guidance, blessings, and the opportunity to learn and grow together πβ¨.
